The domain (http://www.studiomaisonmalabar.in) and its associated web pages comprise the official website ("Website") of Maison Malabar, a trading name of Meghna Bhimrajka Living ("Maison Malabar," "we," "us," or "our"), with its Registered Office located at 184-B, MAKER TOWER E, G D SOMANI ROAD, COLABA, CUFFE PARADE, MUMBAI, 400005.


This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Maison Malabar allows you to either (i) return products or (ii) exchange them for other products. This policy applies to all products sold by Maison Malabar through the Website. 


We encourage you to review our Terms and Conditions and other policies available on the Website, as they are binding upon you.


Conditions for Cancellation


Maison Malabar offers a simple and hassle-free cancellation policy for products purchased from the Website/App, provided the following conditions are met:


1. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy: We offer a 24-hour cancellation policy for all products. Since these are made-to-order items, cancellations cannot be processed after 24 hours from the order placement. However, you may raise exceptions with our customer care team at info@studiomaisonmalabar.in , and they will respond within 24-48 hours.

  

2. Refund Deduction: A deduction of up to 5% of the item's value may be applied for refunds on orders canceled beyond the 24-hour window, depending on the circumstances. If you choose to accept a refund with Maison Malabar store credit for canceled orders, the full amount will be credited to you.


Conditions for Returns or Exchange


Maison Malabar maintains a straightforward return and/or exchange policy for certain products purchased from the Website/App, contingent on the following conditions:


  1. We offer a 3-day return policy from the date of delivery

  2. Original Condition: The product must be returned in its original condition along with the invoice, all labels, tags  and other packaging intact as sold with the product.

  3. Condition of Returned Items: Any product to be returned or exchanged must be unused, or unwashed. Items that are used or damaged will not be accepted

  4. Quality Inspection: All products returned under this policy are subject to quality testing and inspection.

  5. Tags: The original tags must be intact for a successful return. Missing original tags may result in Maison Malabar declining the return request and returning the product to you.

  6. Domestic Orders: For returns/exchanges within India, certain requests may incur a restocking or return-handling fee of INR 200 or 5% of the product's selling price, depending on the frequency of returns. Users with a return rate exceeding 60% may have returns blocked.

  7. Refunds and Fees: The return-handling fee will be deducted from the amount refunded in the form of Store Credit

  8. Delivery Issues: Complaints regarding missing, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

  9. Statutory Refund Criteria: If the product to be returned meets the Statutory Refund Criteria, you are entitled to a refund of the product's purchase price, credited in the form of Store Credit. The Statutory Refund Criteria include:

    - The product does not conform to the characteristics listed on the Website or as agreed in writing.

    - The product is delivered later than the stated delivery schedule, except in cases of unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.

11. Right to Reject Returns: Maison Malabar reserves the right to reject any return or exchange request without providing reasons. In such cases, products will be returned to the original shipping address.

12. Special Orders: Customized or special delivery orders cannot be returned or exchanged.


Why Is There a Return Handling Fee for Domestic Orders?


Maison Malabar aims to provide an easy shopping experience with hassle-free return and exchange options. However, some customers may take advantage of this service by frequently returning products, which negatively impacts our ability to offer these options.


When customers return a product, their return rate is recorded. If the return rate exceeds the average, a restocking or return-handling fee of INR 200 or 5% of the product's selling price (whichever is lower) will be applied.


Returns or Exchange Procedure


You can initiate the returns procedure through the Website by following these steps:


1. Order History: If you purchased as a guest, please register on the Website using the same email address used for the purchase. You can initiate a return only if the product appears in your order history.


2. Customer Service: Alternatively, you can begin the returns/exchange process by emailing info@studiomaisonmalabar.in


3. Gift Returns: If you received the product as a gift from another Maison Malabar customer, you must ask the customer to initiate the return process.


4. Return Options: You can return the product by choosing one of the following options:

   - Ship It Back: Send the product to the address provided by us. You are responsible for ensuring the product is delivered in good condition; Maison Malabar will not be liable for any damage during transit.

   - Pick-Up Service: For select pin codes within India, our delivery service may pick up the product from you at no charge. Maison Malabar will not be liable for any damage during transit.


5. Confirmation and Inspection: Maison Malabar will send a confirmation email upon receiving the returned products. After quality testing and inspection, we will notify you of our decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the return within five (5) working days.


6.Refund Process: If the return/exchange is accepted, the value will be provided in terms or store credit or original payment method within 21 working days. If rejected, we will return the product to you.
